Free Hosted WordPress VS. Paid Hosted WordPress

When starting a blog website, there are a number of options and platforms to choose from but due to the ease of use, the abundance of add-on programs (called Plugins) and the strong development support, the WordPress blogging platform is one of the most popular blogging platforms available. However, you must make the decision of whether to use the free hosted version of WordPress, or to have a paid hosted WordPress installation on your own server. Both versions come with their own advantages, but in our estimation a self-hosted WordPress installation is by far the best option.

Free WordPress Version (http://wordpress.com/)
When you decide to use the free WordPress version, all you need to do is to sign-up then create a username and choose your blog address (e.g: your.wordpress.com). After that, all you need to do is select a theme for your blog and you’re ready to go. However, there is always weakness and strength of using this free version.

Weakness:

Limited themes – WordPress offer limited themes for free version and if user want to do a minor modification, user will need to pay for it.
Limited Pluggins- WordPress do not allow user to add any plugins in a way that user do not have the option to choose which ones or the ability to add new ones

Auto updates and upgrade version

Paid WordPress Version (http://wordpress.org/download/)
If you want to have a more flexibility and are able to do customization then i will recommend you to use paid hosted WordPress version because there are over 7000 plugins and over 1000 themes available. This does not account for the extensive number of “premium” themes and plugins that are also available, which can transform a standard WordPress blog into a full fledged content management system website. These options alone make your own self-hosted installation of WordPress much more flexible and expandable.

In addition to the additional plugins and themes available, you get the advantage of using your own WordPress hosting, which gives you additional flexibility and security. Flexibility comes in the options of structure, domain names (including additional domains for each install) and the ability to host your own email accounts with your blog. Security comes in knowing that no matter what, you are in total control of your WordPress account, so no matter what WordPress.com decides to do in the future (like change features, charge for hosting, etc) you can still do whatever you want to do.

Of course, with a self-hosted WordPress installation, you do have more responsibility. This includes making sure that your WordPress site is configured properly (and optimally), is secured against hacking and that everything remains up to date. The good news is that updating and upgrading is pretty much a point and click function, with only the occasional need to mess with files directly. Security does require some additional attention however. Although WordPress itself is a fairly secure software, there are system settings that many people do not know how to address which could leave your website vulnerable to attacks. The good news is that if you are willing to either do some homework, or pay a small fee for someone to do it for you, you can secure your WordPress website quite nicely.

All in all, a self-hosted WordPress website will give you more flexibility in options, more choices in plugins and themes and provide you with more control over the future of your website. Given the choice between the two options, unless you are totally scared of making decisions in hosting and configurations, the self-hosted version of WordPress is the best option available because it is open-source.

Facebook being hijack by protesters

Do you know that facebook recently have been hijack by a group of protester? According to CNN.com, about 286 groups had apparently been renamed Control Your Info and had a new message posted to their walls saying.

“Hello, we hereby announce that we have officially hijacked your Facebook group,” the message reads. “This means we control a certain part of the information about you on Facebook. If we wanted we could make you appear in a bad way which could damage your image severly [sic].”

The organization is protesting how groups are administered on Facebook and blaming Facebook for shutting down its fan page and accounts. Can you imagine how angry is this protesters?

How can social-networking site such as Facebook has loop holes? This shows the weakness of facebook and how they handle administration of its groups. Gosh, this is funny ..

When it comes to the Internet, there is nothing is secure. That is why no matter how secure is the site, program, application and etc .. Trust me, nothing will protect you against them if they really want it to happen.

Memories of canvassing the neighborhood, going door to door, shouting those three little words, and watching their bags fill up with all sorts of candies, apples, nuts and other goodies. Memories of parades, parties and playing “tricks,” like soaping the neighbors’ windows, “decorating” their trees with toilet tissue, or playing “baseball” with their roadside mailboxes.

Hoooray! I’m officially on holiday. I’ve just finish my last paper today and i guess i’m gonna celebrate it on my bed tonight. I have been his friends for almost 7 years and yet i think that he thinks i’m an asshole. But seriously, i am not and i don’t do this shit ok! If you really want to think that i’m an asshole, please tell me so that i could do whatever it takes to backoff from your fucking life. You doesnt need to be so sarcastic to me ok .. I am also human.. i have feelings too. You can be fucking open and all, but if there is really problem between me and you. The Atrium

Yesterday was my first time going to Atrium and i haven’t clubs for quite sometime already. Basically, it was because of Joanne birthday that i why i was there last night. But unfortunately Joanne FFK all of us.. and yes i do admit that i was angry at her! But then again .. when you come and think about it again, with or without her doesnt make any differences at all. Anyway, lets dont talk bout this sad story … so, yes last night Chee Wee, Weester and i was one of the early birds there. We reach there at about 9.50pm because there’s this buy one bottle free one bottle promotion thingy going on. Therefore, we decided to open 3 bottles which equalant 6 bottles of Uncle Jack Daniels!

About an hour and hour later Vishnu, Foo, Michelle and Rachel came. Then Logesh and his group came and join us too. Then all of us start to drink and drink and drink .. They keep bottom’s up like the no one business and guess what? I was HIGH wei! I can’t remember how much i drank but according to them, It drank quite a lot lar .. more then what i usually drink but overall it was fun lar! Then all of us when to dance floor and start to dance … That time Chee wee was busy shuffling .. Foo was hugging and pushing everyone (and then he kiss me like as if i’m his gf wei .. fucking gay cunt!) .. Weester was a lil tipsy .. the moment she start dancing, she felt on the ground while doing some break dancing (LOL) .. Michelle , Vishnu and Rachel was doing some 3some thingy .. and yes yes , not forgetting me .. i was also dancing with the others.

Around 15 of us dried up the 6 bottles in less then 3 -4 hours and i if im not mistaken .. 7 of us drank up to 3 of bottles on that night… interesting rite? After all the drinking .. we left the club at about 3am. That time everyone was still ok accept for Michelle. She was totally high and drunk and yes …. she can’t even walk! She need Vishnu to carry her to the car. Then on the way back that time, Michelle wanted to vomit, so we stopped by the road side for about an hour pluss. It was a combo puking competition between Rachel and Michelle. At first Rachel was just doing fine and because of Michelle keep vomitting.. she can resist it and started to vomit. At that very moment, FOO’s car battery “kong”. So we were stuck there for almost 2 hours. Then Chee Wee and i decided to go and ask for help but none of them have the jump start cables. But luckily that time, there is one pajero owner who is willing to help us. Thank god … they just save our lifes. Then after that, we continue with our journey back. We’re suppose to go and drink, but because of both girls condition. We decided to fetch them back.

On the way fetching Rachel back that time .. Michelle wanted to vomit! so they decided to stop at somewhere middle of Setapak. That time, Chee wee ,Ai wee and i was super hungry .. so coincident there’s one 24/7 lemang stall. Without hasitating, we all decided to go and tapao the lemang and curry chicken while Vishnu and Foo was busy taking care of their girls 3 of us were happily makaning while waiting for them ..hahahahhaa. After sending Rachel home, Vishnu and Foo wanted to go lotus but that time weester was on sleeping mode d. Then we drop her home safely and when to lotus. It was 5 something that time .. and we chit chat and yada yada till 7am. Then only all of us decided to go back and sleep..

Overall it was a fun outing and yes … Atrium is a nice place to chill and hangout. We should go there more often and party like a rockstar like lastnight! woOOooHhooo

Prologue:

I began staring at the sky one afternoon.. the sun bright sun did not deter me from looking at something that would at least understand my emotions.. the world’s population could see the blood but her..Pain has become an imunity for me..

It all began one day when i was at work..it seemed to be a day like every other..as usual mr.Supervisor started briefing us with the day’s work.. being the so called ‘cool teenagers’ my friends and i weren’t paying attention. instead we were at the back cracking the planet’s stupidest jokes. the jokes were actually quite coming to think about it..

Then Jon introduced me to this new female character. conversation or being friendly was not on my mind.. The PSP she was holding attracted me.. We finally spoke to one another. the only weird part is that it was 7 words.

“can i borrow your PSP!!”. “wait aaa…”

How in my right would i know that 7 words about a PSP would change my life……

Damn, it’s 4:14 am rite now and i’m still wide awake!! do you know tomorrow you have test andrew? Why are u not sleeping then? what is going through your mind? *sigh* I seriously donno what to do lor .. I’m tired but i couldnt sleep, i’m sleepy but my mind tell me not to sleep, and when i wanna sleep, my mind tell me it’s time to go college. LOL, i know this is “fuckup” but what can i do? *sighhhhh again and again* Life still have to moved on yea.. how nice if i wish there is someone beside me who cares bout me. Don’t you think so? well , i guess i shall dream onnnnnnn …

Computer is upgraded

Yeah, i’ve finally updated my PC ram from 512mb to 1GB .. and now, my PC is back in actions. Before this, my PC was ok .. just nice for me to be use but then because of my stupidity, my processor kena “short circuit”. Thanks to Lee Leong Seng for not informing me anything regarding the pro and cons ( if processor are not push in properly, the whole motherfucking processor will get burn.) of opening the processor. So nevermind, that time i can’t on my PC. That time i was still new to PC, i dint know anything bout it. I decided to called up leong seng and ask him. But things doesnt work out on phone. My PC still can’t on, then i when over to his house and ask him to help me to fix this problem but the processor was not push in properly. so he when and on the cpu. That time, we never knew that the processor was burn yet. Then he continue to check by putting the processor onto his pc.. but the processor ain’t working. After all the hard work and effort of repairing it, he decided to smell the processor and finally found out that the processor has a burn smells. Thanks again ..

I’ve got no choice at that time, but to ask him to get me another new processor .. but that time i was broke. I can’t afford to buy back my Intel Pentium 4 processor back, because it was too expensive. Then he recommend me to buy Intel(R) Celeron 2.66Gb processor which is cheaper. So basically i’m using a Intel(R) Celeron 2.66GHZ CPU rite now with a 256MB DDR memory and a 40GB Hard Drive Disk. The performance of my cpu degraded and is getting slower and slower. Then i decided to unplug the 256 ram from my dad pc and plug it onto my motherboard. Now his computer are fucking slow compare to mine LOL! but what to do, i’m evil. Then i told him to upgrade his computer and yes i did. I bought him a Kingston 1GB ram and fix it onto my computer and now, my 512 ram i will move it to his computer. hahahahhaha .. super evil rite? what to do…
